Participants will review therapy cases, including client’s presenting issues and potential therapeutic responses, from within an Existential-Humanistic framework. Please feel free to bring a current case for which you would like some consultation. You can also just listen to others, ask questions, and contribute your comments.
The salon will be virtual and details for joining will be provided upon registration. The salon is appropriate for both students and professionals.
Bob Edelstein, LMFT, MFT, is an Existential-Humanistic psychotherapist with over fifty years of experience. He provides individual and couples therapy, as well as consultation, supervision, workshops, and trainings for clinicians and students. He has presented an Existential-Humanistic Training group series for over two decades. He is a blogger for Psychology Today, Authentic Engagement, and has published articles on the existential-humanistic perspective, including a chapter entitled “Frames, Attitudes, and Skills of an Existential Humanistic Psychotherapist” in The Handbook of Humanistic Psychology, 2nd Edition.
