The Rocky Mountain Humanistic Counseling and Psychological Association is proud to host the 4th World Congress of Existential Therapy. 

Belonging and Invitation. Belonging and invitation, in practice, mean creating an environment where people can enter conversations without needing to prove themselves or arrive with fully formed answers. This Congress is designed to support real dialogue, shared learning, and professional connection across differences. The goal is for participants to leave knowing they have peers they can think with, reach out to, and continue engaging with beyond the event. The Congress is existentialism in action. As a community, the goal is to support you in showing up in small, tangible acts, showing up consistently, taking responsibility when harm happens, and choosing togetherness even when there are so many forces that may try to divide us. You belong.

This Congress is held every three to four years, and provides education, insights, and networking opportunities to international therapists and mental health providers. The World Congress attracts interest from a wide and diverse audience of mental health professionals and constituents from across the globe. 

The 2026, 4th World Congress of Existential Therapy will take place in the Hyatt-Regency Aurora-Denver Hotel in Aurora, Colorado, United States. Nestled near the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, the venue offers the perfect setting to be part of a movement shaping the future of existential therapy worldwide!
